weekly lottery/lucky draw/what ever u wanna call this...

Here is another one of my crazy ideas. I think it would fit into the whole idea of giving people items instead of exp rewards.

The idea:

The lottery will take place maybe every week or every other day. Every monsters in the game can drop a lottery ticket, the higher the level, the more likely they will drop them, they chances of getting will be hard to encourage people to train and hunt more. Each character can only receive 1 ticket per week or every other day depending on how chaos wants it done. Basically collect the ticket by hunting/training and when the GM/EM announces the ticket number on selected days, you just might have a chance to win a special prize.

If the owner of the winning ticket is not on or is AFK, he/she/it will be given maybe a couple of hours or even 1 day to claim the prize. Otherwise, if no one claims the prize, it will be added to the pot and the next winner would receive the jackpot.

The purpose of this quest is to perhaps make training more fun/meaningful while giving people a chance at a GREAT prize. And the limited time to claim the prize would perhaps make people pay more attention and get on APO more.

And remember those tickets will not drop within minutes. So people who wants to exploit this would have to work hard for it.

hahah i just came up with a better idea,

the tickets should be color coded, and from the pool of people that got the same color, one will be chosen. Doing this would make the cheaters cry, which is always fun.

meh high monster.. low monster doesnt make a difference because both ways are good.. 1 way is yeah high monsters.. not so easy, then the other on low monsters it will motivate ppl to lvl becuase they get good items... then it tht case we cud lower the drop rate so its not as easy
